Just when you thought Monday couldn’t get any more Monday, Rep. Jason Crow had to find out the hard way how Monday-y this Monday could get. The Democratic congressman was called to fulfill his civic duty this morning at Adams County Court in Brighton, Colorado.
Good morning, Adams County! Got the golden ticket, or at least the one for jury duty. We’ll see if I get picked! pic.twitter.com/XM0r3hmBSU

Crow isn’t the first member of Congress forced… err, dutifully selected to participate in patriotism. Sen. Claire McCaskill shared her experience back in 2016, even claiming to have checked an item off on her bucket list.
Which makes us wonder (read: worry) about the rest of this bucket list, tbh.
Yep. Just reported for jury duty.On my bucket list to serve. Betting lawyers boot me…use peremptory challenge. pic.twitter.com/lebEiTiF9Y

No word on whether Crow was well caffeinated for his early morning and, potentially, long day.
