The United States will send its first-ever official delegation to the annual March of the Living, an educational program that includes a silent march from Auschwitz to Birkenau.
Raphael Ahren, diplomatic correspondent for The Times of Israel, reported the news on Tuesday, noting that the delegation was to be led by three U.S. ambassadors: Israeli Ambassador David Friedman, German Ambassador Richard Grenell and Polish Ambassador Georgette Mosbacher.

According to the March’s official website, “The International March of the Living is an annual educational program, bringing individuals from around the world to Poland and Israel to study the history of the Holocaust and to examine the roots of prejudice, intolerance and hatred.” (RELATED: Why Does Pete Buttigieg Think Mike Pence Has A Problem With Him Being Gay?)
Richard Grenell cheered the move, saying that the Trump administration “is committed to [combating] anti-semitism.”
