Superstar musician Drake showed some love for Arya Stark Wednesday night.
The rapper won the award for Top Billboard 200 Album at the Billboard Music Awards, and couldn’t help himself from giving a shoutout to the youngest Stark girl. (RELATED: These Are The Sexiest Photos Of ‘Game Of Thrones‘ Star Emilia Clarke On The Internet)
“Shoutout to Arya Stark for putting in that work last week,” Drake said as he made a stabbing motion with his trophy.

This is just another example of how “Game of Thrones” has entirely taken over the entertainment world and our culture. Drake is a rapper accepting an award during a music show, and he’s giving props to a fictional character. If that’s not a sign of how popular “Game of Thrones” is, then I don’t know what is. Plus, Arya’s slaughter of the Night King in the third episode of the final season was incredible.
Her character will forever be remembered as one of the GOATs in TV history.
At this point in time, you’re simply crazy if you’re not watching the final season of HBO’s hit show. It’s all anybody talks about.
I can set my watch on the dot to when the text messages will start rolling in on Sunday, and then I can set it again for the office conversation on Monday.
The schedule never changes because people love “Thrones,” and we can’t get enough of all the action.
Props to Drake for embracing his fandom and nerd status when it comes to “Game of Thrones.” That’s something we love to see.
