The fourth “Game of Thrones” episode of the final season is this Sunday, and it’s time to discuss what might happen.
Here’s what we know for sure. The battle of Winterfell is over, Jon and Dany’s people won and Cersei sat the entire thing out. (RELATED: These Are The Sexiest Photos Of ‘Game Of Thrones‘ Star Emilia Clarke On The Internet)
That’s going to cause some issues between the head of the Lannister family and those who fought for the living in the north. I can promise you that much for.
So, where does that leave us? Cersei is sitting on a massive army and Euron’s navy. Tactically speaking, she has the upper hand in every single category, other than the dragon.
She’s got more troops, they’re better rested and she has naval assets. Again, on paper. Cersei looks ready to roll Daenerys, Jon Snow and the rest of their people.
Of course, this is “Game of Thrones.” You’re an idiot if you’re not expecting the unexpected at this point when it comes to the hit HBO show. (RELATED: The Battle Of Winterfell Was Epic In Latest ‘Game Of Thrones‘ Episode ‘The Long Night’)
Again, I have no idea what will happen, but I’m going to take some stabs here. We have to get at least one major death right? Who are we all thinking?
We need to see some cracks in Cersei to believe she won’t win the big fight. Will we finally get a fight between the Hound and the Mountain? If we do, then I expect the Hound to win. The Mountain sucks and just needs to die.
So, I’ll pick the Mountain to go down in this episode. The question after that is how do we get conflict? I’m not sure we will get much in episode. It’s going to be mostly scheming I think.
However, one of the biggest questions is whether or not Cersei marches north to confront Dany and Jon or if she waits for them to come to her. Give the fact she has every single tactical advantage, she might as well wait for her enemies to march on her.
The big fight I honestly believe will happen in King’s Landing and it’ll happen in episode five, not episode four. We could see Tyrion or Jamie go back to Cersei and try to negotiate some kind of a piece, but we know her and Dany can’t co-exist.
That means one has to go and conflict is imminent. Tune in Sunday night on HBO to find out how it all goes down.
