On Thursday’s program, Jon Miller explained why the media was “outraged” that President Donald Trump claimed in a hypothetical statement that he would accept foreign opposition research.

In this clip, Miller broke down the difference between Trump’s hypothetical reply to a loaded hypothetical question about opposition research and the details that pointed to Hillary Clinton’s involvement with potential campaign interference in the 2016 presidential election.

According to Miller, while sitting at the President’s desk in the oval office, a reporter asked Pres. Trump a hypothetical question about whether or not he would accept information on one of his opponents from foreign source.

“Your campaign this time around, if foreigners, if China, if someone else offers you information on opponents, should they accept it should they call they FBI,” a reporter from ABC asked?

“I think maybe you do both. I think you might want to listen. There’s nothing wrong with listening. If somebody called from a country—Norway—we have information on your opponent. Oh, I think you’d want to hear it,” Trump replied.

“You want that kind of interference on our election,” the reported asked?

“It’s not an interference. They have have information. I think I’d take it. If I thought there was something wrong, I’d go maybe to the FBI, if I thought there was something was wrong. But when somebody comes up with oppo research, right. The come up with oppo research. ‘Oh let’s call the FBI.’ The FBI doesn’t have enough agents to take care of it. But you go and talk honestly to congressmen, they all do it, they always have. And that is the way it is,” Trump stated.

Miller reminded viewers that the question posed to Trump was completely hypothetical and still, Democrats want Trump impeached for “treason.”
