President Donald Trump made another historical act from his Twitter account when he sent an invitation to North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un to meet with him at the demilitarized zone.

The president offered the invitation after saying he would be departing from Japan to head to South Korea.

“After some very important meetings, including my meeting with President Xi of China,” the president tweeted, “I will be leaving Japan for South Korea (with President Moon).”

“While there, if Chairman Kim of North Korea sees this, I would meet him at the Border/DMZ just to shake his hand and say Hello(?)!” he added.

The president has already met Kim once in a historic meeting that didn’t appear to result in any significant deal between the two nations. Trump has publicly offered to help improve the economic situation in North Korea if they would agree to end their militaristic provocations.

A second meeting between the two leaders in February ended with Trump walking out on the negotiations, which reportedly precipitated a “massive purge” of Kim’s advisors.
