A campaign staffer for far-left Democrat presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg wished for another attack on Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz (FL) in a recent social media post after Gaetz was allegedly “milkshaked” by a left-wing activist.

Roll Call notes that the social media post from Samantha Lillian Elaine Pollara came in response to an incident on June 1 where a failed Democratic congressional candidate allegedly doused Gaetz with a milkshake, an action that left-wing activists have begun to use as a form of insult and harassment.

Gaetz tweeted a screenshot of Pollara’s comment, which stated: “Please, please let it be urine next time…”

Gaetz tweeted: “Hey ⁦@PeteButtigieg⁩ — this is a reply from a member of your campaign inciting (rather gross) violence against me after someone previously threw a drink on me. Is this what your campaign stands for?”

After calling Buttigieg out for the disgusting wish made by one of his campaign staffers, Gaetz noted that Pollara had called him to apologize for her remark. “Pollara’s LinkedIn profile lists her as Florida regional investment director for Buttigieg’s campaign,” the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Gaetz tweeted: “Samantha gave me a very nice call and apology. That is how reasonable people behave and it’s certainly good enough for me.”

During a Fox News interview last week, Gaetz said that he is pressing charges against the woman who allegedly attacked him.

“If there are no consequences, then maybe it’s me getting hit with a drink one time, but what if it’s a member of my staff what if instead of a drink it’s acid or urine?” Gaetz said.

Gaetz tweeted out the Fox News segment, writing: “I had a circumstance just a few weeks ago where someone threw a drink at me leaving a town hall meeting. I am going to press charges. It’s really important to send a message that we as conservatives have a right to our views — just like anybody else. We’re not backing down.”
