Weather was a concern in the Washington, D.C., area throughout Thursday in the run-up to the Fourth of July festivities on the National Mall, with rain rolling through periodically and more forecast throughout the night.  

Trump is scheduled to speak at 6:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Memorial, with the festivities to end with a fireworks display after 9 p.m.
