On Friday, “White House Brief” host Jon Miller discussed why the media focused on mass killings that fit their narrative in the days following the El Paso and Dayton massacres and Tyler Yzaguirre joined the program to talk about the dangers of red flag Laws.
Jon explained that the mainstream media avoided reports of gun violence in Chicago because they did not further their ‘white Republican’s are evil’ narrative. Instead, the media focused on El Paso and furthered their gun-grabbing agenda.
“The reality is, gun violence is not going to be solved by nerds in Washington writing legislation,” Jon said.
The president of the Second Amendment Institute explained why red flag Laws were dangerous.
According to Tyler, red flag Laws were the most dangerous set of gun controls Laws in American history because it allowed for practically anybody off the street to go to police and report anyone as a threat to themselves or society, report that they have guns, and the police would have the right to go to that person’s home and remove their firearms.
“So if my neighbor who might be a liberal…decides I am a threat to society they police can take my guns,” Jon asked?
“They can say they feel threatened by their neighbor who has guns,” Tyler replied.
Jon asked why Republicans were beginning to cave and show signs of potentially supporting red flag laws. Tyler explained that it was likely that Republicans were beginning to feel pressure from voters.
