The number of encounters between Federal Agents and undocumented migrants along the southern border is up a staggering 71% in March with unaccompanied minors reaching an all-time high.
“The number of migrant encounters at the United States’ southern border increased 71% since February, new numbers show, as the Biden administration grapples with how to handle the thousands of people, many of them unaccompanied children, seeking to enter the U.S. along the Mexico border,” reports USA Today.
“The U.S. government picked up nearly 19,000 children traveling alone across the Mexican border in March, authorities said Thursday, the largest monthly number ever recorded and a major test for President Joe Biden as he reverses many of his predecessor’s hardline immigration tactics,” adds the Associated Press.
Despite the dramatic rise, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi continued to tell Americans that the US is on the right “path” under the leadership of Joe Biden.
Congressman Andy Biggs posted shocking footage from the US-Mexico border this week; saying “this is what a crisis looks like” and blaming President Biden’s policies for the humanitarian disaster.
“I’m here seeing one of the facilities where people are being brought in,” said Biggs. “Tonight, I’ve seen a group of 19 and 30 people. This facility processes literally a couple thousand people a day who cross into our country illegally.”
“This is due to President Joe Biden’s policies, there’s no other rational for this,” he added.

Wyoming Senator John Barrasso confirmed over the weekend that members of the Biden administration instructed him to “delete pictures” taken along the US-Mexico border as part of an effort to obstruct the media’s access to the crisis.
“We were told to delete the pictures. No one did. You’ve seen the video coming out of all of these kids crammed together under the foil blankets, huddling together,” Barrasso told Fox News.
“They are crammed in like sardines,” Barrasso added. “This is what the Biden administration is trying to hide from the American public.”

Vice President Kamala Harris was appointed by Joe Biden to oversee the administration’s handling of the border crisis nearly two weeks ago but has so-far failed to deliver any major address on the issue.
Instead, Harris used her time this week to meet with minority-owned businesses in Oakland, California.

“Her assigned efforts on immigration, which includes overseeing diplomatic efforts with Northern Triangle countries, fit into a broader trend of the administration delegating substantial foreign policy responsibilities to her. For example, she has held calls with major world leaders like Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu,” reports Fox News.
“Since the beginning of the administration and a week after Biden’s announcement, Harris has fielded questions from the media but has yet to hold a formal press conference. Meanwhile, the border crisis captivated the nation’s attention and raised a series of concerns about national security and the stability of the U.S. immigration system as a whole,” adds Fox.
“So this new surge we’re dealing with now started with the last administration, but it’s our responsibility to deal with it humanely and to – and to stop what’s happening,” Biden said last Wednesday.
“And so, this increase has been consequential, but the vice president has agreed – among the multiple other things that I have her leading – and I appreciate it – agreed to lead our diplomatic effort and work with those nations to accept re- – the returnees, and enhance migration enforcement at their borders – at their borders.”

BIDEN’S BIG BILL: Plan to Put Immigrants in Motels to Cost $284K for a Family of Four
posted by Hannity Staff – 4.01.21
Senator Marsha Blackburn ripped the Biden administration’s approach to immigration in a scathing letter this week; blasting the White House’s plan to place migrants in motels at a cost of $280,000 for a family of four.
“The Biden administration, earlier this month, awarded ICE an $86.9 million contract through Texas-based nonprofit Endeavors for hotel rooms near the border to provide temporary shelter and processing services for families who have been expelled from the United States but have been placed in immigration proceedings for their removal,” reports Fox News.
“This raises questions if half of the $86.9 million in ICE contract proceeds will likewise be allocated toward employee and executive compensation instead of migrant services or housing,” Blackburn wrote.
“As the current contract stands, the cost to taxpayers for housing 1,200 migrant families for six months is about $71,000 per person,” Blackburn wrote. “For a family of four, that amounts to a shocking $284,000 — enough to buy a small house.”
The Biden administration is reportedly preparing a $1 trillion tax hike to help finance the White House’s latest policy push including immigration, CoVID, infrastructure, climate change, and income inequality.
“When President Joe Biden’s team began putting together his infrastructure and jobs package this February, the White House National Economic Council circulated an internal proposal calling for about $3 trillion in new spending and $1 trillion in new tax hikes, according to three people with knowledge of the matter,” reports the San Diego Union Tribune.
“The choice to limit the impact on the federal deficit may help the White House counter critics who say that the nation’s spending imbalance is out of control. But it also sets up the administration for an enormous political challenge in convincing Congress to pass a package of tax increases on wealthy Americans and companies that together would represent the largest tax hike in generations,” adds the newspaper.
Biden is poised to unveil another $3 trillion in new federal spending this week to focus on Infrastructure; allocating the cash to help rebuild roads but also fight “climate change and income inequality.”
“The president is expected to introduce up to $3 trillion in spending on efforts to boost the economy, including rebuilding aging infrastructure like highways, bridges and rail lines, and investing in technologies to reduce planet-warming greenhouse gas emissions,” reports CNBC.
“The package may be split between two bills, starting with legislation that incorporates Biden’s Build Back Better agenda and supports his goal to achieve carbon-free power generation by 2035 and net-zero emissions by 2050,” adds the website.
“Electrifying America’s cars and trucks, creating a nationwide smart grid, expanding electricity storage to allow more renewable energy, establishing universal high speed internet — all of these are intended to boost the productivity and competitiveness of the economy, while also cutting emissions,” said one advisor.
“We cannot just settle for what we can agree on without recognizing that this has to be a bill for the future, that we have to recognize the climate crisis,” Nancy Pelosi told reporters.

‘KIDS IN CONTAINERS?’ Press Sec Says Only a ‘Couple of Options’ for Unaccompanied Minors at the Border
posted by Hannity Staff – 2.25.21
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki defended the Biden administration’s decision to re-open facilities for children crossing the US border without their parents Wednesday; saying the policies are vastly different than the Trump administration’s programs.
“You said it’s not ‘Kids in Cages.’ We’ve seen some photos now of containers. Is it ‘Kids in Containers’ instead of ‘Kids in Cages’?” asked reporter Peter Doocy.
“We have a number of unaccompanied children who are coming into the country without their families. What we’re not doing is ripping them from the arms of their parents at the border. We’re not doing that,” said Psaki.
“We can send them back, we can transfer them, or we can put them with families and sponsors without any vetting. We’ve chosen the middle option,” she added.
