Comedian Bob Saget, known for his roles as Danny Tanner on the hit 90s sitcom Full House and host of America’s Funniest Home Videos has passed away. Saget was found in an Orlando hotel room while on his latest stand-up comedy tour.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the news on Twitter:

“Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case,” the tweet read.

Saget’s family released a statement following the tragic news:

“We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today,” the Saget family said in the statement. “He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.

“Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”

Saget spent his final days doing what he loved most: touring his unique brand of stand-up comedy.

“Okay, I loved tonight’s show @pontevedra_concerthall in Jacksonville,” Saget said on Twitter. “Really nice audience. Lots of positivity. Happened last night in Orlando last night at the Hard Rock Live too. Very appreciative and fun audiences. Thanks again to @comediantimwilkins for opening.”
