NIH Director Dr. Anthony Fauci may be in some trouble here.

According to documents uncovered by Project Veritas, EcoHealth Alliance, a known collaborator with Fauci’s NIH, approached the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in March of 2018, looking to fund Project Defuse — an initiative to conduct gain of function research of coronaviruses from bats.

According to Project Veritas, because the proposal violated a gain of function research moratorium, it was rejected by DARPA. But, reportedly, Fauci pushed on anway.

“According to the documents, NIAID, under the direction of Dr. Fauci, proceeded with the research at the Wuhan Virology Lab in China and at several sites other across the US.,” The Post Millennial reports.

Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) shared the information on Twitter:

“Jaw dropping report just dropped by Project Veritas. Never before seen military Documents obtained by #ProjectVeritas about Gain of Function directly contradict Dr. Fauci testimony under oath. #ExposeFauci”
