Gun control activist and Harvard whiz kid David Hagg took to Twitter to ask a very serious question about gun rights in this country, and he’d like to remind the court of public opinion that he’s entitled to own special level of dumb.
“If you need a license to kill deer why don’t you need one to kill humans?” Hogg tweeted, adding “Plenty of people will think this is dumb- good for you. I’m not looking out for an election and I’m entitled to my own opinion no matter how much you disagree.”
Well, ask and ye shall receive. Twitter was happy to offer David some friendly information and advice.
Would rather keep murder illegal, but you’re entitled to your opinion, Harvard McHitman

What if we made murder illegal? That could work.

I’ll type slowly so you can keep up. Because we don’t give out licenses to kill humans. We charge people who intentionally kill humans — save in self-defense — with committing a crime (in some cases punishable by death). Maybe you’ve seen too many James Bond movies?https://twitter.com/davidhogg111/status/1510274623283281926u00a0u2026

The last time I checked, unless it’s in self-defense, killing humans was still illegal… has that changed?
