Biden claimed that the climate “crisis” “is a genuine opportunity, an opportunity to do things we wanted to do.”
As President Biden arrived in Washington state on Friday, he was greeted with chants of “Let’s go Brandon.” As the motorcade made its way to Green River College near Seattle, protestors lined the street waving Trump signs and cheering “Let’s go Brandon” at the President.

Biden spoke on Earth Day about how in his view, the climate crisis is “is a genuine opportunity, an opportunity to do things we wanted to do and only now have become so apparent.”

He went on to say that an aspect of the presidency that he enjoys is the spending power that comes with the office.
“One thing I’ve found out as the President of the United States, I get to spend a lot of that money … I’m going to start the process where every vehicle in the United States military—every vehicle—is going to be climate-friendly.”
