As Twitchy reported earlier, Minister of Truth Nina Jankowicz has resigned from the DHS’ Disinformation Governance Board, which Taylor Lorenz sadly reported has been put on “pause” after just three weeks due to “coordinated right-wing attacks.” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre flipped through her notes Wednesday afternoon to vouch for Jankowicz, the Mary Poppins of misinformation, who has strong credentials and a history of calling out disinformation on the Right and on the Left.
That’s leaving a lot of people wishing Jean-Pierre would flip through her notes some more and point out instances where Jankowicz pointed out disinformation coming from the Left. A quick search through Jankowicz’s Twitter feed showed that she bought into the Steele dossier, helped the Hillary Clinton campaign push the Carter Page story, and called the New York Post’s Hunter Biden scoop “a fairy tale about a laptop repair shop.” When she needed an example of a tweet that a “trustworthy” person like herself could go in and edit to “add context,” she used the hypothetical of Donald Trump tweeting about election fraud … it’s just the first thing that sprung to mind. We’d been told that her focus would be on Russia.

I would like to see that CV and other ‘credentials’ as well as specifics on her alleged ‘call outs’
— Bob Markey (@AllThingsSauce) May 18, 2022
I’m sure she could easily name a time that she fact-checked left-leaning disinformation

Her entire point is misinformation.

I hope everyone realizes that Nina Jankowicz wrote that statement.

And then they’ll just move on like this whole pathetic episode never happened.

Jankowicz will probably be an MSNBC contributor by this time next week.
