Arby’s said Monday that the Wagyu Steakhouse Burger will be available through July 31 at participating restaurants nationwide. Prices start at $5.99.
The burger features an American Wagyu blended burger topped with American cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion and a special burger sauce on a brioche bun.
Arby’s said the 6.4-ounce burger is 50% larger than McDonald’s Quarter Pounder.
The base of the burger is a blend of 52% American Wagyu and 48% ground beef that’s cooked sous vide style.
I just dispatched someone from CFP global headquarters to snag one. It should be here within 10 minutes.
I ate it immediately upon arrival.

It looked pretty close to the stock photo.
I ordered it with everything except bacon, in order to assess the Wagyu blend, without porcine interference. The beef was juicy with a nice char-broil and smoky flavor, though I’m sure it was reheated, perhaps steamed, and not cooked to order on the grill. The flavor was excellent, and it did taste better than a quarter pounder. The lettuce and tomato were both fresh, and the sauce was a good compliment. Really liked the sauce.
A very tasty burger for $6 bucks.
