Georgia Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene blasted British reporter Siobhan Kennedy for challenging the 2nd Amendment and U.S. gun ownership; Kennedy proudly excliamed that the UK doesn’t have guns or mass shootings —and Greene fired back.

“We don’t have guns in the UK, that is true, but we don’t have mass shootings either. And our children aren’t scared to go to school,” Kennedy said.

“You have mass stabbings, lady. You have all kinds of murder and you’ve got laws against that,” MTG said.

“Not like the rates here,” Kennedy replied.

“Well, you can go back to your country and worry about your no guns,” Greene said.

Greene shared the exchange on Twitter, saying “When British press wants to argue about our God-given American gun rights, my answer is: ‘go back to your own country.’”

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court expanded 2nd Amendment rights on Thursday, ruling that New York’s concealed carry requirements were unconstituational; Justice Thomas wrote the opinion.

“In this case, petitioners and respondents agree that ordinary, law-abiding citizens have a similar right to carry handguns publicly for their self-defense. We too agree, and now hold, consistent with Heller and McDonald, that the Second and Fourteenth Amendments protect an individual’s right to carry a handgun for self-defense outside the home,” Justice Clarence Thomas wrote in the Court’s opinion. “Because the State of New York issues public-carry licenses only when an applicant demonstrates a special need for self-defense, we conclude that the State’s licensing regime violates the Constitution.”
