Senator Ted Cruz was on The View this morning for an interview regarding his new book.

During the interview, climate change hecklers began shouting what sounded like ‘love our planet now’.

The View let it go on for a over 30 seconds before Whoopi finally shouted them down.

While the hecklers were shouting during Cruz’s interview, it seemed more of a criticism of The View, as Sunny Hostin suggested than it was of Cruz.

Speaking of Hostin, she attacks the conservative platform of family values (because Trump) and asked Cruz what the Republican platform is at this point, suggesting there isn’t one.

But Cruz quickly schooled Hostin of the fact that it was under Trump and Republicans that the country saw poverty going down and record unemployment for African Americans and Hispanics. Hostin tries to change the subject to the deficit, but Cruz refused to let her do so and proceeds with her lesson:

I love how Cruz adds in that he believes Republicans will win in a tidal wave in November, taking back the House and Senate.

During the end of this segment another heckler got bleeped out by the show because they shouted ‘f— you Ted Cruz’, which forced the show to go to a commercial:

Here’s a couple more clips of Cruz from the show:

I’ll post the full interview with Cruz here when/if they make it available.
