After more than a year of anticipation, Prince Harry has announced a title and release date for his memoir. The book, which will be released on January 10, will be called Spare. It will discuss the moment he and his brother Prince William walked behind Princess Diana’s coffin in her 1997 funeral procession. It will be published simultaneously in Spanish with the subtitle In the Shadow, and will ultimately be released in 16 languages.

“Penguin Random House is honored to be publishing Prince Harry’s candid and emotionally powerful story for readers everywhere,” Penguin Random House CEO Markus Dohle said in a press release. “He shares a remarkably moving personal journey from trauma to healing, one that speaks to the power of love and will inspire and encourage millions of people around the world.”

Harry previously announced that he would donate a portion of the proceeds from the book to charity. According to a statement from the Random House imprint, which will be publishing the book in the US, he will be donating $1.5 million to Sentebale, the HIV/AIDS-focused charity in southern Africa he helped to found in 2003. He will also donate 300 thousand British pounds to WellChild, a charity that supports children with disabilities and their families.

The title, which is presumably a reference to his status as the younger son of a monarch, might give a hint about the tone, which Random House described as “raw, unflinching” and “a landmark publication full of insight, revelation, self-examination, and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over grief.”

Spare will be released almost exactly four months after the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the accession of King Charles III to the throne. On Wednesday, the New York Times reported that Harry was having second thoughts about its contents after the death of his grandmother. Last month, sources told Vanity Fair that Charles was waiting for the publication of the book and the premiere of Harry’s Netflix documentary with his wife Meghan Markle before making decisions about their relationship with the royals going forward.
