Easy, Joe —you’re making the handlers nervous!

According to a Fox News report, while answering questions at the end of a solo press conference in Indonesia on Monday, President Biden took pre-planned questions from several reporters —and one seemingly unplanned from NBC’s Peter Alexander; he asked whether Americans could expect anything in Congress “as it relates to abortion rights.”

“I don’t think they can expect much of anything other than we’re going to maintain our positions. I’m not getting into more questions. I shouldn’t have even answered your question,” Biden said.

Alexander was not on Biden’s pre-approved list of questions.

“I don’t think there’s enough votes to codify unless something happens unusual in the House,” Biden added. “I think we’re going to get very close in the House … but I don’t think we’re going to make it.”

One of Biden’s handlers then shouted down remaining questions as Biden left the podium.
