As Twitchy reported last week, New York Times publisher A.G. Sulzberger received a letter signed by 1,000 employees threatening a walkout on December 8 if there was no agreed-upon contract. There isn’t, and New York Times Guild members are walking out as promised Thursday. They also ask that you join them on the digital picket line and not read anything on the Times website.

What can we say? We’re totally on board with that.

It’s kind of funny that the best card the guild has to play is asking you not to play Wordle.

Asking people not to visit the Times online Thursday is something conservatives can get on board with. Seriously, all anyone cares about is Wordle, not the news or opinion.
