Former kickboxer Andrew Tate was reportedly detained by police in Romania on suspicion of human trafficking, rape and forming an organized crime group.
Tate, also an American-British social media personality, and his brother, Tristan Tate, were detained Thursday with two other suspects from Romania, according to Reuters.
The brothers were detained after Romania’s anti-organized-crime unit raiding their properties in Bucharest, prosecutors said. They will reportedly be detained for 24 hours.
The prosecutor also allege the four suspects appear to have created an organized crime group to recruit, house and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content for a website.
