A 25-year-old man has been arrested in Pennsylvania in connection with the stabbing deaths last month of four University of Idaho students, according to several news reports Friday.
The reports are based on multiple law enforcement sources with direct knowledge of the investigation, according to nbcnewyork.com.
The bodies of the victims were found Nov. 11 an off-campus rental home.
The suspect was taken into custody in Scranton. Pa.
Authorities in Moscow, Idaho, have thus far said little publicly about their investigation, which until now appears to have been a cold case.
The names of the students are Ethan Chapin, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle and Madison Mogen.
Authorities in Idaho are schedule to hold a press conference at 4 p.m. ET.
The person taken into custody reportedly is in his 20s and is not a University of Idaho student.
