Last night Sean Hannity got into it with Lauren Boebert over refusing to vote for Kevin McCarthy for Speaker.
The way Hannity went after her, you’d have thought he was interviewing a Democrat.
The core argument from Hannity was that she only has 20 votes for her opposition candidate and McCarthy is getting over 200 votes from Republicans.
Yesterday Boebert told McCarthy that he should pull his name because he doesn’t have the votes. Hannity wanted to know when she’d take her own advice and concede since her candidates are only getting 20 votes.
They went rounds over this for the entire interview, but Boebert ultimately said she will never concede and vote for McCarthy because she doesn’t trust him to follow through on his promises.
Despite the somewhat hostile interview, it’ll be interesting to see if Boebert still refuses to vote for McCarthy today after the new overnight concessions that were made.
