A popular Telegram channel affiliated with the theocratic republic’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) posted a chilling video that appeared to threaten former President Donald Trump’s life and also the lives of leading United States defense officials days after the anniversary of slain Iranian General Qassim Soleimani’s death.

The video, posted Monday on the IRGC-affiliated “Sepah Cyberi” channel, depicts an office where a file on Soleimani lays open on a desk, complete with photographs of the terrorist and his assassination, and a calendar marked with the date of his death.

Meanwhile, a bulletin board on the wall displays photographs of:

  • Former U.S. President Donald Trump
  • Former National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien
  • Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley
  • Former National Security Council Middle East and North Africa region affairs senior director Robert Greenway
  • U.S. Cyber Command Chief Gen. Paul Nakasone
  • Former senior adviser Victoria Coates
  • Former Deputy National Security Adviser Matthew Pottinger
  • National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Director Vice Admiral Frank Whitworth
  • Commanding General of U.S. Army Forces Command Andrew Poppas
  • Former Head of the U.S. Central Command General Kenneth Franklin McKenzie

A message states, “The perpetrators of general Soleimani martyrdom will be punished for their actions.”

It is then followed by images of a sniper rifle, explosive detonator, handgun, combat drone, and vile of poison, interspersed with pictures of the 45th President and the other officials.

The clip ends with a chilling threat:

“We will determine how and when to punish. Coming soon…,” it says, along with images depicting various crime scenes.

As the video ends, the IRGC’s logo and official Telegram handle appear.

The clips come in the wake of assassination threats against senior U.S. officials involved in the targeted killing of Soleimani, Iran’s terrorist mastermind responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Americans.

This isn’t the first time such threats were made against Trump’s life.

Last year, a video threatening the assassination of Trump as revenge for Soleimani’s killing appeared on the website of Iran’s Supreme Leader.

As The Associated Press reported earlier this week, government protection to former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and one of his top Iran aides has been extended due to persistent threats against them from Iran.

The State Department said the threats to Pompeo and Brian Hook remained “serious and credible.” Hook served as the Trump administration’s special envoy for Iran.
