Governor DeSantis spoke out today on the woke course that Florida banned last week and the critics who are accusing him of racism, saying “We want education, no indoctrination.”
DeSantis pointed out that Florida’s education standards requires that black history be taught to all students, but Florida draws the line on indoctrination.

DeSantis points out that this course on ‘black history’ actually included a section on ‘queer theory’.
He said: “Now who would say that an important part of black history is queer theory? That is someone pushing an agenda on our kids. When you look to see they have stuff about intersectionality, abolishing prisons. That’s a political agenda.”
