Kevin McCarthy has kept his word and put Freedom Caucus members on the powerful Rules Committee.

This week McCarthy put both Ralph Norman and Chip Roy on the committee, along with conservative Thomas Massie.

Below are all the members of the Rules Committee:

It’s official, I’ll be on the Rules Committee. The committee is comprised of 9 members of the majority and 4 members of the minority.

It says something about McCarthy that he would keep his word after he struck this deal to get the votes to become Speaker.

I hope he turns out to be a great Speaker so that when we do win the Senate again, Republicans can actually affect significant change, especially if we have the White House as well.
